Wow.
I would never have resubscribed to Crackmonkey if I'd known
the amount of disinformation that's routinely posted here as
sophisticated troll humor for those in the know (an egregious
example being the fsf guy who started the thread about using
procmail with gnus for emacs) ... this shit is starting to
drive me crazy (although I must admit, it's a short drive.)
Of course, the true fact of the matter is that both MP3 and
Ogg Vorbis are lossy compression -- it's just that .ogg is
less lossy, and has the added benefits of making smaller
compressed files and being patent-free (hence, royalty-free.)
Correct me if I'm wrong ... but don't just contradict me if
you're trolling.
