Ah, but at least SMP support finally made it into current!

Ironically, I normally run BSD's, but if I've got to get my hands 
icky with Java, I use the IBM JVM on Debian...just typing that 
probably reached through space-time into the future and made Stallman 
spin in his grave :-)

And I've gone around and evangelized some silly java programmers in 
these parts who bitched and moaned about entee sucking and fed them 
the Debian apt-get happy juice, they're much less annoyed with the 
universe now.

But hey, I'm not a platform bigot, more of a platform slut than 
anything, whichever one is best for the job (amazing how that just 
doesn't seem to be winblows very often).
