Bah.  Meat-eating isn't merely about the acquisition of protein: it's
about tearing into chunks of animal muscle that have been variously
boiled, roasted and charred, and LIKING IT!  It's not about survival;
it's about being at the top of the food chain and making damn sure the
lower orders KNOW ALL ABOUT IT.
