I'm afraid it's at the opposite end. While only a weenie would dutifully
install said proprietary software and view the "web site", anyone worthy
of posting to crackmonkey would immediately browse elsewhere.
(Optionally posting a letter of complaint to the webmaster, attempting
to reeducate him).

Frankly the crankmonkey posting filters are the only thing that keep me
here, and have even kept me here through a shortlived yet distasteful
slashdot weenie infestation. Because if someone is incapable of
installing or unwilling to choose a non-proprietary MUA, I'm unlikely to
be even slighty interested in hearing their opinions, about anything.
