You know, a man once went to jail for saying that the draft was a form
of slavery:

Apparently, the Supreme Court felt that, because it had rejected that
argument the year before,

Arver v. U.S., The Selective Draft Law Cases, 245 U.S. 366 (1918)

there was no reason that it should continue to permit the claim to be
re-iterated in public.
