Total World GDP, 2000AD, 41 trillion USD [1]

Therefore I can conclude that approx 25% of world GDP is generated in the
US.

The second largest economy, Japan, has a 2000 GDP of 3.15 trillion USD [3]
or 7.7% of world GDP.

Good old Blighty has a 2000 GDP of 1.36 trillion USD [4], or almost 5% of
world GDP.
