In fact, libdvdread does a magical hunt-and-dlopen() that
scours your system for decryption code. ld.so.conf is merely
advisory.

And I happend to have it last, so that essential debian
security updates won't leave me behind, and so when I install 2.0.0 of
something that's 1.3.9 in debian, I'll be able to track it properly
once the 2 series reaches testing.
