Speaking of industrialists and their Gilt, my high school has a "Gould
Hall" named after Jay Gould. In the entrance there is a plaque which
says something about how the building is in his honor, or in loving
memory of him, or something.
Which reminds me that the "Gould, S. J." joke is old enough that
_most_ people now on crackmonkey haven't heard it.
