This is an excellent rant. I think that Slashdot has really fallen
down on the job of covering Russia's laser research, and sadly, we
must consider this a capital crime.

Otherwise, they will think that America is soft, and then there will
be life consequences.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try and preserve my ass in a
non-dead status by writing about how Russians will protect themselves
if there was a nucular attack. (Hint: cover head with arms, scream,
point at sky, run around.)
