so check it. I have been fooling with this here convers thing here and
got me own conversd running...
join me and welcome to convers. The convers system is an IRC-like network
which uses port 3600 to connect. It is optimized for producing less
traffic, because some of its servers are connected through the
radio waves, where bandwidth is scarce.
I still dream of a guerilla net, even if the government beats me to it.
so, if you are running Debian/GNU Linux*
do this:
for an x based dealy, do a
apt-get install xconvers
for a k-rad console split screen display:
apt-get install colrconv
colrconv -n YOU mpilots.dyndns.org
other clients including a Win32 client:
ftp://ftp.hes.iki.fi/pub/ham/unix/convers/
so check it and welcome to the past.
MY conversd setup is:
Server: mpilots.dyndns.org
port: 3600
Im on a DYNDNS setup, *shrug*.
oh, and good morning/night mutha fuckas!!!!
*Debian GNU/Linux is the official operating system of the Bad People of
the Future
