Which is really fantastic, because apparently Heston was whining about
not having a part in the film, a la Adam West for the original Batman.
SO, Tim Burton let him have a part, and Tim Himself wrote the scene for
Charlton. Remember what it was about?

A sickly  old man dying in his bed while ranting about the power of
guns and how they have to destroy the people who are trying to take
away their power.

I couldn't believe Heston actually agreed to do that scene, after he
read the script.
