Good point. I've been working with it now for a few days and can make
it work locally, but am having trouble connecting to other nodes properly.
The java doesn't seem to send as much debug output as I'd like.

Back to the Java manuals. I won't even take a shot at development
until I at least understand implementation better, though... 

This whiterose looks promising, though. Do you know anyone that
has tried it?
