	I still use Perl as a scripting language when bash and awk
aren't powerful enough (even in concert).  It's nice for that.  It's
stream-of-consciousness programming, man.

	But many of the Perl bigwigs are actually Python fans
themselves.  The Perl OOP stuff was actually modeled on the Python OOP
techniques (hence both have the "self" parameter at the beginning of
each method's argument list).
