To whom it may concern:
We have been around forever. Throughout the centuries, we have lived in
hiding. But now, we are no longer afraid. We have joined together, and we
are strong. We will not live in the closet any longer. We will not be
ashamed of who we are. We will not bow to the oppression of the majority.
There are hundreds, probably thousands of us in the statuephile community
on the internet. There are probably millions of us in the world. And
we're not going to take any crap anymore!
We're here.
We like statues.
Get used to it.

Primary statuephile sites, where you can learn more:
The Hall of Statuary
http://www.oaktree.net/argoforg
The Medusa Realm
http://members.xoom.com/meddie/Medusa
Studs in Stone
http://freyr.home.texas.net/SiS/index.htm
Statuephile Home Page
http://members.aol.com/iceman6735/index.htm
Info on these sites: The Medusa Realm and the Statuephile Home Page deal
with petrified women, Studs in Stone deals with petrified men, and the
Hall of Statuary is mostly women. The Statuephile Home Page is the oldest
site but it hasn't been updated very much at all over the past few years,
and it's a bit short on content. Still, it's a part of history. The Hall
of Statuary is very old, venerable, and filled with cool stuff, but sadly
it's going to be shut down soon. After over 63,000 visitors, the site
maintainer just doesn't have time to keep up the site anymore. The Hall of
Statuary has the BEST archive of petrification-related fiction, as well as
the famous list of statue scenes from cartoons, animation, and comics.
The Medusa Realm is the most popular and perhaps the largest site, and has
gotten over 90,000 visitors since its fairly recent inception. The picture
gallery is HUGE, featuring image edits from famous statue artits like JLS
and Mr. Freeze, and no-so-famous statue artists, like me. You won't find
a better picture gallery ANYWHERE if what you're interested in is women
being turned to stone.
There are a few other sites, but you can find them from the links pages
of those sites. A few other good sites have shut down in the past year,
unfortunately, but plenty of promising new sites have sprung up, like the
Living Mannequin Circle.
There are also several Yahoo! clubs available for those interested in
petrification: the Frozen Girls club, Mannequin Madness, and probably
a couple I can't remember. We also have a newsgroup: alt.sex.fetish.robots.
We share it with the robot folk and the mannequin folk, but they're nice.
There's also the #ASFR chatroom on SandNET, a few mailing lists that don't
get used very often, and of course a bunch of InsideTheWeb message boards.
You can find a nice picture of Natalie Portman Naked and Petrified here:

I hope that answers your questions.
And one last thing, I don't consider it a "fetish," I consider it a
"lifestyle choice" and I would greatly appreciate if you would not
insult my sexual orientation. Thank you very much.
And have a great day.
